Performance and function | Through electrolysis or chemical methods in metal or some non-metallic coating on a layer of nickel method, known as nickel plating. Nickel plating is divided into electroplating and electroless nickel plating. Nickel electroplating is composed of nickel salt (called the main salt), conductive salt, pH buffer, wetting agent in the electrolyte, the anode with metal nickel, cathode for plating, through direct current, deposition on the cathode (plating) on a layer of uniform, dense nickel coating. Bright nickel is obtained from the plating solution with brightener, while dark nickel is obtained from the electrolyte without brightener. | ||||||
