What is Nano Ceramic Coating?
Nano-ceramic coatings are a form of paint protection like carnauba wax and paint sealers, but they have better durability. With proper maintenance, this ceramic coating can last for half a year. Ceramic coatings are highly hydrophobic, which means they are very waterproof. Ceramic paints also have self-cleaning properties, which means your paint will keep itself clean of grime far beyond traditional waxes or sealants. The main active ingredient in them is silicon dioxide (SiO2), which forms a glass layer on your car paint, giving it protection and shine.
What can ceramic coatings do?
Hydrophobic and Self Cleaning
With a hydrophobic ceramic coating, the water will bead up on the surface and slide off more easily. Also, mud and grime will be more difficult to bond to your vehicle paint.
