Description

 

Para aramid sewing thread is a high strength, high modulus fire retardant sewing thread made from 100% para- aramid fibre.

 

It offers exceptionally high strength retention even at elevated heat ageing temperatures and can be used to stitch durable protective seams that can withstand burning flames and exposure to high temperatures.

 

Endnus has been specifically developed to meet the exacting fire and heat standards in many industries including; aerospace, automotive and insulation. It also used for the tape edging operation on mattresses.

 

Most spun para-aramid yarns are supplied in their natural yellow color. There are package dyed options available if required, however the strength is typically lower than in its natural state.

 

It has excellent tensile strength and exhibits exceptional chemical and abrasion resistance. Care should be taken when using para aramid outdoors as it is weakened by ultraviolet light exposure.

 

 

Made from 100% para-aramid fibre with a high melting point of 450°C.

 

Stronger than steel, para-aramid is a high tenacity, high modulus fibre.
