DESCRIPTION
Moisture resistant ready-made dry mix for production of big facade decorative elements. Finished products may be applied on basements.
PREPARATION OF THE SOLUTION AND THE PROCEDURE OF WORK
Close the dry mixture with clean water at room temperature (no more than +30C) according to the principle of "mixture into water" in the ratio of 0.26-0.3 liters of water per 1 kg of dry mixture.
Mix the mixture with a construction mixer or a drill with a nozzle for at least 2-3 minutes until a homogeneous mass is obtained. When using dry pigments, pre-mix them with water. Pour the resulting solution into the mold. Remove excess mixture with a spatula.
If the manufacturer's recommendations are followed, the decoupling is possible in 45-60 minutes.
The decoupling of the molds depends on the quantity and quality of the water used (water according to GOST 23732 is used for the preparation of mortar mixtures), as well as temperature (20 +/- 2C) and relative humidity in the room (60 +/- 10%). When the products are completely dried, the color of the painted stone becomes lighter by several tones.
ATTENTION!
Use only clean tools and containers! The mixture is compatible with iron oxide pigments. When using pigments of a different chemical nature, it is recommended to test the interaction on a small amount of the mixture.

What is different between a gypsum of grade 16 and a gypsum of grade 18? |
The item produced from a gypsum of grade 16 has Strength under compression no less than 16 MPa. And the item produced from a gypsum of grade 18 has Strength under compression no less than 18 MPa. Number of gypsum's grade equal the Strength limit of beam samples at the age of 2 hours under compression. |
What is Plaster or Paris? |
Plaster of Paris is alpha gypsum plaster also known as high strength gypsum. |
What is the difference between Plaster of Paris and building gypsum (beta gypsum)? |
Alpha Gypsum is obtained by heating of gypsum stone under high pressure. Though both have the same chemical composition (CaSO4.1 / 2H2O), they differ in their crystallographic structures. In Beta plaster, crystals are needle-like and amorphous shaped, but in Alpha plaster they have a much more refined and geometrical shape. This structure of alpha gypsum crystals allows to obtain a low water demand, which subsequently leads to formation of less internal pores in products and it becomes more durable. |
