 1, Product introduction:

 PBT - polybutylene terephthalate, is a milky white translucent to opaque crystalline thermoplastic polyester resin formed by the polycondensation of 1,4-butanediol (BDO) and terephthalic acid (PTA). It has excellent comprehensive performance and good molding processability. Its appearance is circular particles, which can reduce processing energy consumption and has outstanding cost performance.

Scope of application: modification, optical cable, spinning, color masterbatch, film drawing, etc

Processing characteristics: PBT base resin is recommended to be dried in hot air (100-130 ℃) for 3-5 hours. It should not be dried for a long time at 100 ℃ or above 150 ℃. Otherwise, it is easy to cause poor performance such as incomplete drying or discoloration of materials. The best drying effect is that the water content is less than 0.02%. If the water content exceeds 0.03%, it is easy to reduce the appearance and physical properties; Even the dried PBT pellets must be dried again after being placed for 0.5-1.0 hours in general environment;

Melting temperature: 225 ~ 275 ℃, recommended processing temperature: 250 ℃.

Mold temperature: for unreinforced materials, the recommended mold temperature is 40 ~ 60 ℃.

Injection pressure: determined according to the number and size of holes in the product.

Injection speed: adjust with the pressure. Generally, a faster injection speed should be selected for molding, because the thermal solidification of pure PBT is very fast.

Batch number identification: the product batch number of Nantong Xingchen synthetic materials Co., Ltd. consists of 10 digit codes. The first two digits indicate the last two digits of the year. For example, 13 is 2013 and 14 is 2014; The third digit indicates the month, the months from January to September are represented by numbers 1-9, and the months from October to December are represented by letters a, B and C respectively; The last seven digits are the serial number.
