Collagen Type II is made from chicken sternum and contains all the important components of cartilage: collagens and GAGs (chondroitin, hyaluronic acid and keratan).
The most cost effective source of Collagen Type II is young chicken sternum cartilage. In sternum, the predominant collagen is Type II (over 90% of the sternum collagen). The content of total protein (mainly collagen) is over 65%.
