Performance:
Commercially available products are usually aqueous solutions with a concentration of 20% to 50%. The degree of polymerization used in the paper industry is around 100, and its aqueous solution is positive. The pH value of a 5% aqueous solution is 8 to 11, and it will gel in the presence of acid. Polyethyleneimine has high reactivity, can react with hydroxyl groups in cellulose and cross-link polymerization, so that paper has wet strength and dry strengthening effect. The presence of any acids, bases and aluminum sulfate will affect its wet strength and retention.
Application:
Under certain conditions, polyethyleneimine solid material can absorb a large amount of carbon dioxide in humid air, and the separation process is also very convenient. Carbon dioxide can be permanently sequestered in polyethyleneimine solid materials, and carbon dioxide can also be extracted and used in other fields. The material can be reused and retains its high absorption performance as always.
