Introduction about Omini-direction Moving AGV

 omnidirectional mobile platform uses the our own highest-quality mecanum wheels and PU wheels  to realize the function of moving in any direction in the two-dimensional plane through the combination of different wheel speeds and steering, including straight travel. , Horizontal, diagonal, arbitrary curve movement, small turning radius turning and other omnidirectional movement forms. It can freely shuttle to the bottom of the train, using equipment movement and lifting accuracy to achieve high-precision positioning during the assembly process, which can more quickly, more flexibly and accurately complete the installation, disassembly, and maintenance of undercarriage equipment, as well as the adjustment and pulling of the empty rail train , Hanging rails, etc. When the two cars are linked, the two workshops have millisecond-level synchronous communication and control to automatically realize the synchronous lifting action of the two cars, which is especially suitable for the handling and assembly of long heavy-duty train cars.

Guidance Mode of  our AGV

Now on market, there are 3 kinds of AGV Guidance mode 

1)Magenetic Tape Guidance Mode

Stick magenetic tape on floor, the AGV will follow the magenetic tape route to move or transport the material from one stop to another stop

2)QR Code Guidance Mode

Stick QR Code label on floor, the AGV will follow the QR Code labels to move or transport the material from one station to another station

3)Laser SLAM Guidance Mode

AGV use laser technology to build Simultaneous Localization And Mapping(SLAM), and AGV will follow the map that built to move or transport material from one station to another station

Docking Mode of AGV and Material

According to the docking mode between AGV and Material, we have 4 kinds AGV

1)Towing Type AGV

This kind of AGV will have a rear-hook, and the material is stored in material cart, then connect the material cart to the AGV rear part, then AGV will towing the material cart to transport the material from one station to another

2)Lurking Type AGV

This kind of AGV will lurk down to the Material cart bottom, then the AGV will have a tug pin jacking up to the material cart bottom, then lock with material cart and bring the material cart from one station to another station

3)LiftingType AGV

The top part of this kind AGV can lift up, normally in 50mm, to lift up the material cart or shelf or box, and transport the material from one station to another station

4)Carrying Type AGV

This kind of AGV is simply carry the material box or carton on top of AGV body, and transport the material from one station to another station

AGV  has accurate positioning. It does not need other positioning device on the floor. The moving path is flexible, and it can adjust to various kinds of onsite conditions. It can carry empty pallet, load pallet, paper roll, etc.
