Wood based powder activated carbon
Wood based activated carbon has a high surface area characterized by both mesopores and micropores and has excellent decolorizing properties .
Wood based activated carbon is produced from selected types of wood and sawdust. This type of carbon is produced by either steam or phosphoric acid activation. Most pores in wood based carbon are in the meso and macro pore region which is ideal for decolorization of liquids and water.Wood based activated carbon has a high surface area characterized by both mesopores and micropores and has excellent decolorizing properties owing to its signature porosimetry Relatively low density Renewable source of raw material.
Advantages: high iodine value and Methylene blue value , low ash, price cheap etc.
The adsorptive capacity of ZhuLin powdered activated carbon (PAC) makes it ideal for removing a variety of contaminants from water, air, liquids and gases.
