TPO waterproofing membrane is thermoplastic polyolefin waterproofing membrane. It is based on thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) synthetic resin which combines ethylene-propylene rubber and polypropylene with advanced polymerization technology. Antioxidant and anti-aging agent are added. , The new waterproof membrane made of softener can be made of polyester fiber mesh as an internal reinforcing material to make a reinforced waterproof membrane, which is a synthetic polymer waterproof membrane waterproof product.

 

Performance characteristics

TPO waterproofing membrane combines the performance advantages of EPDM and PVC, with the former's weather resistance, low temperature flexibility and the latter's weldability. Different from traditional plastics, this material exhibits high rubber elasticity at room temperature, and can be shaped like plastic at high temperatures. Therefore, this material has good processability and mechanical properties, and has high-strength welding properties. After adding a layer of polyester fiber fabric between the two layers of TPO material, it can enhance its physical properties, improve its breaking strength, fatigue resistance and puncture resistance.

In practical applications, the product has the comprehensive characteristics of anti-aging, high tensile strength, high elongation, wet roof construction, no protective layer exposed, convenient construction, no pollution, etc. It is very suitable as a waterproof layer for light energy-saving roofs .
