Aluminum Foil Fiberglass Cloth is a fireproof insulation material woven by fiberglass yarn through plain weave or biaxial weaving method. Then foil is laminated on glass fiber cloth through composite technology.
The temperature resistance of this glass fiber is a woven fabric can reach 538°C/1000°F (test standard: ASTM-D-6413); more test standards>>
The temperature resistance of aluminum foil can reach 260 °C / 500 °F max (test standard: ASTM-D-6413)
In the process of use, aluminum foil has good heat reflective ability. It can withstand higher instantaneous temperature than conventional coated glass fiber fabric, so it is widely used in fireproof clothing, fire-resistant welding fabric, and high-temperature thermal insulating protective covers.
