Introduction
NH3408 is a saturated polyester resin designed for TGIC powder coating systems. It features outstanding leveling performance, excellent extinction, mechanical and boiling resistance, good storage stability, suitable for matte/high gloss powder coatings.
In today's market, powder coating is a widely used material. Unlike general solvent-based coatings and water-based coatings, powder coatings do not use a solvent as a dispersion medium but rely on air as a dispersion medium. Therefore, pollution is reduced, the environment is improved, and the health of operators is guaranteed.
According to the different gloss levels of powder coatings, there are high-gloss, flat, matte, and low-gloss types. The gloss of high-gloss powder coatings is generally greater than 75GU, while the flat type is between 45GU and 75GU. Between 10GU and 45GU is matte type, and the low-gloss powder coating is below 10GU. In addition, the powder coatings used in different environments are also different. For example, high-gloss powder coatings are mainly used outdoors, are relatively temperature-resistant, and are often used on air conditioners or street lamps; matte powder coatings are mainly used indoors, it’s not harmful to people's eyes.
