Extruded rubber is a good method of compounding and curing rubber when the desired product is given to being run in continuous
lengths of the same cross section. Like shapes fabricated from sheet rubber, tooling costs are relatively low in general, and the process is very versatile insofar as rubber compound and configuration ranges go. Extruding can often be combined with other post-cure processes like cutting to length, punching holes, die-cutting notches, vulcanizing, etc., making it a good alternative to rubber molding in some cases. We manufacture Extruded Rubber Profiles in sizes ranging from .095″ diameter to a cross section of up to 12″. Extrusions cover the full range of rubber polymers as well as closed cell sponge profiles. We extrude in a variety of colors and materials including EPDM, Neoprene, Silicone, Santoprene, Polyisoprene, Nitrile as well as closed cell EPDM, SBR,Nitrile and Neoprene sponge.
We also provide custom compounds for your specific applications. Our OEM & ODM work is in the development of custom made glass rubber gaskets of various rubber and elastic materials.
