*1 Mold Silicone in different hardness and colors are available
*2 Curing agent with different curing speed can be adjusted
*3 Standard curing time will vary depending on the size of the cured item, temperature and humidity.

Advantages
* Easy to use - no special equipment or conditions required

* High tear strength and excellent elongation (making removal of even complex shapes from the mould easy)

* Good chemical resistance to styrene and polyurethane

* Low viscosity - fantastic flow properties

* Great value!

Product Description

Condensation cure liquid rtv2 silicone rubber is a kind of room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber in condensation type. It’s generally named as two part silicone rubber and tin-cured silicone rubber compounds , Part A is a flowable liquid, part B is the curing agent or catalyst . It’s mainly used for mold making . Silicone can be pigmented by your requirements in our factory if you could provide the pantone code. Pot life for the pourable silicone is 30-40 minutes and they cure overnight at room temperature (25 Celsius).Vacuum degassing mixed material using a vacuum pump and chamber to remove entrapped air is recommended !

Typical Uses
The cured mould can then be used to produce precise replicas of the original part, including fine surface detail, out of a range of materials including polyester, epoxy and polyurethane resin, urethane foam, wax, casting plaster, Jesmonite, and reconstituted stone.
This Silicone should not be used with Water Clear Casting Resins such as the Water Clear Polyester or Polyurethane Resins as the inherent moisture content of this type of silicone can inhibit the curing of the resin.

Can we use the silicone rubber for brushing? - Yes, sure.
Silicone can be thickened with our additive for brush-on applications.
Silicones can be used to cast a variety of materials including wax, gypsum, low melt alloys/metals and urethane, epoxy or polyester resins (without using a release agent)
