PDO Thread Lift is the latest and revolutionary treatment for skin tightening and lifting as well as Vshaping the face. These threads are made of PDO (polydioxanone) material which is similar to the threads used in surgical stitches.
PDO material is used for more than 30 years in plastic surgery, gastroenterology, urology, gynaecology, ophthalmology for cutaneous and subcutaneous stitches. These threads have high tensile strength, excellent pliability and smooth tissue passage.
This material meets all the requirements established by the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) for surgical sutures.
PDO ultimately breaks down into water and carbon dioxide which are naturally absorbed into skin.
