The cold chain VIP board is composed of an internal core material and an external integrated barrier, mainly using nano-scale fumed silica as the core material, which is packaged and processed by the separator after being evacuated.
All in one, it is a super thermal insulation material. Under normal temperature environment, the thermal conductivity is less than 0.0045w / (m.k), which is the best cold chain insulation material so far. Compared with other insulation materials, VIP can be thinner, save more space, and keep the insulation time longer.
Super insulation performance
The microporous core material itself has good insulation performance.
After vacuum sealing, its insulation performance is significantly improved. At a standard atmospheric pressure of 22.5 °C, the thermal conductivity can be as low as 0.005W/m·K, which is aerogel 4 times.
Heat and fire resistance
Since the main component of the vacuum insulation panel is fumed silica, a non-organic material, the fire rating of VIP can reach Class A. Compared with most organic materials such as XPS, EPS, or PU, vacuum insulation panel is safer in use.
