This is a simple and easy-to-use [Peach drop] folding umbrella with a slightly larger 55cm parent bone size that is super water repellent and wind resistant.
[Peach drop] is a super-fallen material that instantly repels water droplets even when it rains, just like peach skin that repels water droplets.
"Superhydrophobic" is generally said to mean "a phenomenon in which a drop of water comes in contact with a surface at a contact angle of approximately 150°".
"Peach drop" has a contact angle of 153°, and the water repellency of the fabric maintains the surface tension of the water droplets like a ball.
In addition, the water repellency of the fabric is highly sustainable.
In a water repellency test conducted by a testing institute, the highest rank of water repellency, grade 5, was measured before washing.
After 40 launderings, it retained its grade 4 water repellency, and even after 50 launderings, it maintained its grade 3 water repellency.
After 50 washes, the fabric was treated with hot air and tested again for water repellency, and it recovered to the same level of repellency as after 5 washes.
Even after the water repellency is degraded, the function is restored by applying heat, and the repellency can be used for a long time without losing its water repellency.
