CHAGA - THE HEALING GIFT OF NATURE

This is a kind of dark growth with numerous cracks, which still grows on a living birch trunk.

Distributed in all regions of birch growth, with the exception of the most southern and northern climatic zones. You can find this mushroom on other trees like alder, aspen or maple, but only chaga growing on birch has medicinal properties.

Chaga was used in the Middle Ages by the famous physician Avicenna to treat patients. And also the Russian prince Vladimir Monomakh was cured by cooking chaga, and there are records about this in the Russian chronicles of the 11th century. Chaga preparations were also described by Russian herbalists of the 17th and 18th centuries; great attention was paid to them and it was believed that this medicine cures many diseases.

Application: classic way

Soak chaga in room temperature water for 7-8 hours in a glass or ceramic container. Then remove and chop the pieces on a grater or in a meat grinder. We do not drain the water from soaking, but mix it again with chaga in a ratio of 1 part water: 5 parts chaga. Warm the infusion to 50 degrees and keep in a thermos for 12 hours. Strain the infusion, strain and store in the refrigerator for no more than 5 days.

REMEMBER THAT 80 degrees C IS THE MAXIMUM FEEDING TEMPERATURE.

It is not recommended to use it for diseases accompanied by fluid retention in the body - this can cause swelling, with prolonged use of chaga, there is increased excitability, before taking chaga during pregnancy, it is advisable to consult a doctor.
