Thermochromic pigment

a. The pigments are composed of micro-capsules that change color reversibly. When the temperature is raised to a specified temperature the pigment goes from colored to colorless (or one color to another color). The color returns to original color as the pigment is cooled down.

b. Thermochromic material take advantage of thermochromism, which refers to materials that change their hues in response to temperature fluctuations.

Basic information:

Specified temperature: 0-70 degree Celsius

Heat resistance: 220 degrees Celsius

Feature: Affected by climate, organic pigment

Usage: plastic pigment, ink pigment (solvent-based and water-based), paint pigment, slurry pigment, etc.  

Application: plastic injection molding (PP, PVC, PU, ABS, EVA, Silicone, etc.)   

Storage: It should be stored in a dry, hypothermia and dark place.

Technical details:

Do not add ordinary pigments.

Just add thermochromic pigment to any clear, transparent material.

For solvent-based printing ink (silk screen printing) & solvent-based paint: Recommend adding 15-25%

For water-based ink (silk screen printing): Recommend adding 3-15%

The best temperature of process within 160-180 degree Celsius.

When the powder is not dispersed, the dispersant can be added.
