Metal lens pad
In the connection of high-pressure pipes, the lens pad sealing structure is widely used. The sealing surfaces of the lens pad are all spherical surfaces, which are in contact with the conical sealing surface of the pipe, and the initial state is a ring line. Under the action of the pre-tightening force, the lens pad is plastically deformed at the contact point, and the ring line becomes a ring belt, and the sealing performance is better. Because the contact surface is naturally formed by spherical and inclined surfaces, the gasket is easy to center. The lens gasket seal is a mandatory seal. The sealing surface is in contact with the spherical surface and the conical surface, which is prone to indentation and poor interchangeability of parts. In addition, the manufacturing cost of the gasket is high, and the processing is also difficult.

Application range of metal lens pad:
The current angle type high pressure valve end flange in my country's general machinery industry is sealed with a lens pad, and its applicable nominal pressure is 16.0 ~ 32.0Mpa; the nominal diameter is 3 ~ 200mm; the operating temperature is -30 ~ 200 ℃ , commonly used in the sealing of high-pressure hydrogen-containing acid media.
