Application scenarios:
There are two ways to add dye to the cooling system:
Way 1. Before the engine test, the coolant and dye can be pre-mixed and added to the engine.
Way 2. After the coolant is added to the engine, the dye is directly added to the cooling system.
Detect with high-intensity fluorescent lamps (better with our high-intensity UV lamps). Due to the presence of the dye, which fluoresces bright blue, leaks are easily detected.
Recommended filling amount
The following recommended filling ratios are an initial filling ratio for typical applications. The actual fill ratio depends on the type of antifreeze, the intensity of the UV lamp, the background color of the system being filled, the desired fluorescence intensity, and the light intensity of the working environment.
Water: 300-500 ppm
Antifreeze: 500-700 ppm
How to clear
The dye can be easily removed from metal surfaces with chlorinated solvents, paraffin oil or metal cleaners or by wiping. (Use our special cleaners)
