Description

             Molecular sieve adsorbents are crystalline aluminosilicates, known as zeolites. Their unique structure allows the water of crystallization to be removed, leaving a porous crystalline structure. These pores, or cages, have a high affinity to re-adsorb water or other polar molecules. Aided by strong ionic forces (electrostatic fields) due to the presence of cations such as sodium, calcium and potassium, and by the enormous internal surface area of up to 1,000 m2/g, molecular sieves will adsorb a considerable amount of water or other fluids. If the fluid to be adsorbed is a polar compound, it can be adsorbed with high loading, even at very low concentrations of the fluid. Molecular sieves will, therefore, remove gas or liquid impurities to very low levels (ppm or less).
              Another feature of molecular sieve adsorbents is their ability to separate gases or liquids by molecular size or polarity. The pore, or cage, openings are the same size as many molecules, e.g., in the case of hydrocarbon paraffins, straight-chained molecules can fit into the pores and be adsorbed, while the branched-chain molecules cannot enter the pores and pass through the molecular sieve bed unadsorbed.

3A molecular sieve:

It is mainly used for drying of petroleum cracking gas, olefin, refinery and oilfield gas. It is a desiccant for chemical industry, medicine, insulating glass and other industries.

Chemical formula: 2/3K2O·1/3Na22O·AI2O3·2SiO2·.9/2H2O

Main use: 1. Drying of liquid (such as ethanol)

2. Air drying in insulating glass

3. Drying of nitrogen and hydrogen mixed gas

4. Drying of refrigerant

4A molecular sieve:

Mainly used for drying of natural gas and various chemical gases and liquids, refrigerants, pharmaceuticals, electronic materials and volatile substances, argon purification, separation of methane, ethane and propane.

Chemical formula: Na2O·Al2O3·2SiO2·9/2H2O

Main uses: 1. Deep drying of air, natural gas, hydrocarbon complete alkane, refrigerant and other gases and liquids;

2. Preparation and purification of argon;

3. Static drying of electronic components and moisture-prone materials;

4. It is used as dehydrating agent in paints, polyesters, dyes and coatings.

5A molecular sieve:

Chemical formula: 3/4CaO·1/4Na2O·Al2O3·2SiO2·9/2H2O

Main uses: 1. Natural gas drying, desulfurization and decarbonation;

2. Separation of nitrogen and oxygen, separation of nitrogen and hydrogen to produce oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen;

3. Petroleum dewaxing, separation of normal hydrocarbons from branched hydrocarbons and cyclic hydrocarbons.

(Renewable)

The large specific surface area and polar adsorption of 5A molecular sieve achieves deep adsorption of water and residual ammonia. The decomposed nitrogen-hydrogen mixture enters the dryer to remove residual moisture and other impurities. The purification device adopts the process of double adsorption towers, one absorbs and dries the ammonia decomposition gas, and the other desorbs the moisture and residual ammonia in the heating state (generally at 300-350 ℃), so as to achieve the purpose of regeneration.

13X-APG molecular sieve:

Mainly used for purification of raw material gas of large and medium-sized air separation plants.
