Product Overview

Description

Pellets

Wood pellets are a solid fuel that is produced by crushing and densifying wood waste such as sawdust, forest residues and forestry waste. The length is 1-4 cm and the diameter is usually 6, 8, 10 or 12 mm. A maximum of 25 mm wood pellet can be produced. In Sweden, a 6mm wood pellet is encouraged to be used internally as it can achieve the best burning conditions. The production of wood pellets does not need to add a binder like lignin, an element of wood plays a role in a binder and helps in granulation when melted by heat.

Product Application

The application of wood pellets is extensive all over the world and the use of biomass pellets can be observed in daily life. Wood pellets are made from agricultural or forestry waste such as straw, sawdust, bagasse, peanut shell, sunflower seed shell, saw chips, grain stalks and Straw. Pellet fuel must be processed by crushing, drying, mixing, pelletizing, cooling, screening and packaging. Biomass pellets are widely used as a new green energy fuel, mainly used as a substitute for fossil fuels (coal, gasoline and natural gas), and mainly applied to the following industries.
