Zhongyu Zhang is graduated from the Royal College of Art, and the undergraduate went to the Ecole de design et communication visuelle for study. Previously worked as a design researcher at Fugext Design Studio, and as a product designers at Cortland Partnersd and In key Design. She has involved exhibition in RCA Progress Show (RCA, London), 2018 RCA Final show, London Design Festiival 2017, Invalid Response Park (Shanghai), Blindspots exhibition, etc. She joined the Side furniture brand in 2019 as a furniture designer, and her original furniture was reported by AD magazine.The design work was shortlisted for Golden Pin Design Award and YoungBirds Asian Excellent Youth Competition.
