Performance and use:
Methoxy silicone oil with the terminal OCH3 group can react with Si-OH, SiO2, Si-H functionality. It can be used in different industries. As an anti-crepe hardness control additive for silicone rubber compound, the typical using amount is 2~10%wt.
It can be used alone or in combination with hydroxy silicone oil. Heat treatment is not required during feeding process, and the temperature should be raised after the materials are mixed evenly. The methoxy-terminated structure control agent has a molecular weight several times than dimethyldimethoxysilane, but its active content is equivalent to hydroxy silicone oil.
It has similar function as hydroxy silicone oil but with more superior performance in specific perspective like dryness touch and finish.
Water molecules will not be produced in the anti-structuring process.
