Application

The vast majority of caprolactam is used to produce polycaprolactam, about 90% of which is used to produce synthetic fibers, namely Capron, and 10% is used as plastics for the manufacture of gears, bearings, pipes, medical equipment, electrical and insulating materials, etc. It is also used in coatings, plastics and in small amounts in the synthesis of lysine.
