Anhydrous property: White powder, easily soluble in water, density at 2.45, melting point at 890℃, its water solution is alkaline, PH value in 1% solution is 9.9~10.7.
Decahydrate Property: Sodium Pyrophosphate hydrate is white, transparent or white needle crystals. Easily soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol. Basic property appeared in aqueous solution, react with alkaline earth metal, produce complex compound. is efflorescent in dry air.
