Unsheathed Side Spot Plastic Sparkle Optical Fiber Cable
Product Description
Side spot fiber optic light cable usually is applied to construct the fiber optic chandelier and curtain as well as the FO sensory kit. It comes in two categories: sheathed fiber cable and non-sheathed one. The PMMA fiber strands inside the clear PVC sheath tube usually are 0.75mm and 1.0mm in form of single strand and multi strands. Along these fiber strands there are dots/points cut by the knife or marked by the laser, and light will come out from those dots to have side glow effect. 
As the light emits from the points along the fiber cable, usually side spot fiber optic light cable requires high power LED light engine to drive, such as our 80W one: LEI-8001 and 150W one, LEI-15001. And the ideal continuous length of the side spot fiber cable is around 5 meters or less to prevent the weak brightness at the far end. If longer fiber cable is needed, please check the sales for solution.
The unsheathed side spot fiber cable, SSOF-1*0.75/CK, applied the original Mitsubishi fiber strand, CK-30, with spot marked by the laser machine. And the dot/spot distance on the cable is 3cm by default.
