Zhejiang Light-Tough Composite Materials Co., Ltd. was founded in 2003, with registered capital of RMB 6,000,000 and covers an area of 20,000sqm, including more than 5,000sqm of workshops. The founder of our company has been engaged in the R&D of ceramic at abroad for many years and possessed the most advanced technology of manufacturing ceramic composite materials in the world. Cored in the technology of "Double Skeleton composite materials" with self-IPR, our company has developed a series of ceramic-based light armor materials like boron carbide and silicon carbide with fully nationalized device and raw materials. A series of composite products of ceramic-ceramic, ceramic-metals and ceramic-polymers are being manufactured in large volume now. Our company has reached an annual capability of 40 tons of ceramic and 50,000 pieces of proof panels, and has distributed products cross the world.

Another main product is metal matrix composites, such as tungsten-copper (silver), tungsten carbide copper (silver), and chromium copper. These materials with a wide range of composition can be manufactured by suitable processes like press-sintering, direct infiltration, infiltrating copper into high temperature sintered or activated sintered skeleton based on applications. These materials can be made into various kinds of products with different shapes or specifications, such as sheets, rods or special-shaped parts. These products are widely used as electrodes, electric contacts, electronic packaging bases and high-temperature sweating parts in the fields of electronic and electrical industries.

A R&D center has been established to guarantee our company to be innovative or creative. We are now working on some projects cooperated by several national famous universities and research institutes.
