DISPERSANT 1040is a 50% active mixture of unsaturated carboxylic acids and silicone.It is good for solvent-base paint,ink. It can prevent floating and asymmetry in color.It also can prevent pigment precipitation.

Use:

 

1) Prevent color floating and asymmetry in alkyd paint,polyester paint,epoxy paint.

 

2) Disperse inorganic pigment in solvent-base system.

 

 

 

 

 

Dosage:

 

Pigment wt % of active content

 

Organic Pigment 2-5%

 

Inorganic pigment 0.3-3%

 

 

 

Order of addition:

 

1, Mix DISPERSANT 1040 into millbase.Add pigments while stirring. And disperse in the usual routine.

 

2,Also add after grinding pigment.Dose is 0.1-1.5%
