LW004-PB is LoRaWAN based panic button with positioning function. With a compact and smart outlook, and easy to use. It integrates BLE and GPS that is specially designed for indoor and outdoor positioning of object or person. It is using BLE scan the surrounding Beacons to obtain the location to track objects or people (indoor use), or using the GPS to track the location of objects or people (outdoor use).
In an emergency, you can trigger a alarm to send location information. What's more, the product has a built-in vibration and 3-axis sensor, which can sense the alarm status and data sending status through vibration in the case of an alarm, and detect the dynamic state of objects or personnel through the 3-axis sensor data.

Working Principle
The panic button LW004-PB is compatible to all LoRaWAN gateway and server. When people who wear the LW004-PB are in emergency, they can press the red button for alert and the device will come into alarm mode. In alarm mode, the deveice will keep vibrating and the yellow LED will keep blinking until the device exit alarm mode. Meanwhile, the device will report the GPS data or surrounding beacon’s information to server. Through the beacon information and GPS data, we can know the position and moving trajectory of the people who are in emergency and find them to give a faster help.
The LW004-PB supports BLE and GPS positioning which can be used for both indoor and outdoor tracking solutions. It is also with built in RFID, which can be applied to access control, attendance applications, such as office buildings, residential areas, etc.
Description of indoor+outdoor use principle For LoRaWAN+ BLE solutions, the LW004-PB will be located by GPS outdoor and BLE indoor. For indoor BLE locating, each BLE beacon comes with unique MAC address/RSSI & its continuously transmitting an identifier, this beacon identifier signal is captured by LoRaWAN Panic Button which making location and tracking capability easier and more accurate. Simply to deploy beacon in each individual room and let each staff wear one LoRaWAN panic button, when the staff press the button, it will scan beacon MAC address/RSSI and transmit it through LoRaWAN to LoRaWAN gateway, then the management will know in which room the staff are. When staff works outdoor, the LW004-PB will be located by GPS. |
