Sodium treatment/Etched:

Sodium treatmen that the surface of PTFE gasket is treated with Sodium naphthalene liquid to give its surface a special treatment, making the liquid and surface of PTFE to produce chemical reaction, tear off the surface of fluorine molecules. At this time, carbonization layer and some polar groups are left on the surface, so as to obtain activated PTFE. In this way,etched PTFE gasket can be bonded  with  rubber, metal, plastic, wood, non-metal and other materials.
