Squeezing Method

From the pre-treatment of raw materials to be pressed, there are cold pressing and hot pressing. The hot pressing method is also called the cooked pressing method. Cold pressing means that the raw materials are directly put into the oil press to squeeze out the oil without being roasted or steamed. The oil squeezed by this method is relatively lighter in color and brighter. But the oil yield is low; the oil taste is not strong, not mellow. Cooked pressing means drying the raw materials before pressing. The purpose is to reduce the moisture of the raw materials, increase the activity and fluidity of the oil molecules, thereby increasing the oil yield and ensuring the fragrance of the oil. But it also destroys the chemical composition of the oil, causing the oil to be darker in color.

Squeezing Process

When the oil enters the press chamber of the oil press, the pressure increases with the rotation of the press chamber. The seed material is continuously squeezed as the oil is squeezed out; finally it becomes an oil cake; it is squeezed out of the squeezing chamber.


Compared with other types of oil presses, the screw oil machine is more cost-effective and easy to operate, but the quality of the oil is not very good. (Hydraulic oil press has low power and can be driven by three-phase electricity and household electricity. The oil is clear and attractive, but the output is low. So it is more suitable for pressing high-grade oil such as sesame oil and walnut oil.)

 Disassembly Method  

1. Place the freshly squeezed oil, remove the hopper, and flip up the front cover

2. Remove the pin screw of the press chamber

3. Remove the squeeze chamber

4. Take out the squeeze rod

5. Take out the squeeze rod; clean the squeeze chamber and the squeeze rod; dry it for later use or assemble it (scale will appear if there is water for more than 8 hours)


1. What should to do if foreign matter enters the material opening?

Stop immediately; start the reverse motor; disassemble the press chamber after the foreign objects and raw materials exit; clean it up before continuing to work.

2. What to do if the squeeze rod cannot be taken out of the squeeze chamber?

Reinstall the machine; start idling for 5 minutes; you can take it out.

3. What should to do if there is a sudden power failure during operation for more than 30 minutes?

Turn off the power switch in time and unplug the power plug; Clean out the raw materials visible in the feed inlet; After the power is received, heat for 20 minutes before starting the motor; Under normal circumstances, you can continue to work. If the machine still cannot work after heating, you need to remove the press chamber and press rod, clean it up, reassemble it, and then turn it on again.

4. Is the pressing method the same for different raw materials?

The pressing method is different.

a. Peanut 

Peanuts are more suitable for oil extraction when they are fried until they are fully cooked. Raw peanuts will grind into powder after entering the squeezing chamber, which is not easy to produce oil. If you want to get fragrant peanut oil, you need to fry the peanuts until they are crispy and add 5% water to fry until there are no obvious water marks on the surface before squeezing. If you fry the peanuts until they are crispy, put them in a steamer and steam them for a while, and then squeeze them, the oily aroma will be very mellow and fragrant.

b. Sesame

This machine is not suitable for squeezing puffed cooked sesame seeds. Puffed cooked sesame is the raw material for making sesame paste, which has the characteristics of fragrant and crisp. The material for oil extraction must be soft and capable of being pressed into pieces, so the puffed sesame seeds can only produce sauce but not oil when used for oil extraction. This machine cannot be compared with large-scale industrial oil presses, and their structural design and principles are different.

Peeled sesame seeds are mainly used to make pastries. Because the peeled sesame has a good taste, there is no surface fiber used to squeeze the oil, so the raw materials cannot be advanced and the residue will not dry. Black sesame seeds and white sesame seeds with skin are the first choice for pressing sesame oil.

c. Harder materials

Soybeans, tea seed kernels, hemp kernels, walnut kernels, rapeseed, sunflower seeds can be fried in a pot to soften the surface and then squeezed.

d. The dry material that does not need to be heated to damage the nutrients of the oil can be directly squeezed. For example: linseed, perilla seed.

5. How to deal with oil residue?

The oil residue is defatted nuts, which can be made into a variety of delicacies, organic fertilizer for flowers and vegetables, etc.
