Precautions for use of titanium anode
1,The electrolyte shall be stable, especially free of cyanide and fluoride ions, which will seriously corrode the titanium matrix.
2,Before the electrolyte enters the electrolytic cell, a filtering device shall be added, which shall not contain metal particles with a diameter greater than 0.1mm, to prevent the short circuit of the cathode and anode caused by excessive accumulation.
3.Avoid pole reversal. When the precious gold oxide coating is used as a cathode, the surface will have a reduction reaction and will be transformed into a metal substance, which will not be able to effectively combine with the titanium substrate, causing the coating to fall off; Pure titanium flail is used as anode, and the intense oxidation reaction on the surface will make titanium materials particularly easy to be melted.
4.It is not advisable to soak in the solution in the power-off mode for a long time during shutdown, so as to load a small current of about 5A to protect the electrode plate.
5,The temperature of electrolyte should not be too high when working, and the ideal temperature is 25-40 ℃. If conditions permit, a heat exchange device can be added to maintain the best use environment for electrodes.
6,The anode shall be kept clean during production and use, and shall not be contaminated with oil or other attachments, which will affect the electrolysis effect and electrode life later.
