 1.What is The Aerial Bundled Cable?

      Aerial Bundled Cables(also Aerial Bundled Conductors or simply ABC) are overhead power lines using several insulated phase conductors bundled tightly together,usually with a bare neutral conductor.This contrasts with the traditional practice of using uninsulated conductors separated by air gaps.This variation of overhead power lines utilizes the same principles are bundled conductors,expect that they are closer together to the point of touching but each conductor is surrounded by an insulating layer(except for the neutral line).

2.Applications

       Primarily used for overhead service drop applications,such as:street lighting.outdoor lighting and temporary service for construction.To be used at voltages of 600v phase-to-phase or less and at at conductor temperatures not to exceed 75℃ for polyethylene(PE) insulated conductors or 90℃ cross-linked polyethylene(XLPE) insulated conductors.

      Overhead insulated cable may be installed in the streets with dense trees close to the buildings,site of urban construction and lead to transformer.It is especially for an old city,which has densely buildings,densely population and narrow streets.

0.6/1kv or 6/10kv

7.Service Drop Cable meets or exceeds the following specifications:

1).Aluminum Wire,1350-H19 for Electrical Purposes;

2).Aluminum Conductors,Concentric-Lay-Stranded;

3).Aluminum Conductor,Concentric-Lay-Stranded,Coated Steel Reinforced(ACSR);

4).Concentric-Lay-Stranded 6201-T81 Conductors;

5).Service drop cable meets or exceeds all applicable requirements of ANSI/ICEA S-76-474;

8.Cable's Characteristics:

1).Max.admissible long time operating to conductor:

PVC or PE insulated should not exceed 70℃,XLPE insulated should not exceed 90℃;

2).Installing temperature should not be below -20℃;

3).Admissible bending radius:

When overall-diameter(D)is less than 25mm,it should be not less than 4D;

When overall-diameter(D) is 25mm or more,it should be not less than 6D;

Our company has single wire area,stranding area,extruding area,armouring area,cabling area,package area, and has its own laboratory.  There are 4 tubular stranding machines in our factory. All of these are seven strands of wire, can stranding the wire to left and right two directions. The range and speed of the strand wire are different. We have 4 extruded molding machines totally. The two is 90, one is 65 and the other is 120 .(Note : 90, 65, 120 means the diameter of the screw tube on the extruder. )Insulation thickness ranges from 1 mm to 4 mm.the color master batch of 2%-3%  XLPE PE.Process: The screw and insulation materials are squeezed together by the extruder. Next printed with the print machine or inkjet machine, then cooled through the sink, and eventually entangled on the axle directly.etc.
