BS 5163 adopt British Standard, it is with medium length, Flat bottom seat ring Integral with the body. Inside and outside epoxy resin coating,wedge wholly bonded with rubber. Three “O” ring sealing. These all insure excellent corrosion protection and reliable sealing capability. AS per request, the gate valves can be actuated by operating lever, hand wheel electrical actuator and so on.

It is important to apply a few simple chocking and lashing rules to minimize the risks of incident during transport.
Vehicles must be suitable for the transport, loading and uploading of ductile iron pipes and fittings. Apply the following basic rules:
-Prevent any contact between the valve elements and metal surfaces (to avoid damaging the coatings).

-Make sure the valves do not come into direct contact with the trailer floor (store the pipes horizontally by placing two parallel rows of good quality wooden planks fastened to the floor).
-Make sure that the valves can be loaded and unloaded in complete safety.
-Make sure that the load is secure during transport.
-Always use vehicles or trailers with sufficiently large stanchions fitted on each side of the floor to stabilize the load.
-Lash the load with textile straps and lever tensioners.
