Compressed Air Foam (CAF) Systems
Compressed air foam systems use a superior fire retardant foam to put out fires effectively in a short time.
When a fire breaks out, the system releases a foam over a large area which coats the fire, cooling it and cover the surface of flammable material to prevent re-ignition.The superior foam in the extinguishing medium reduces the surface tension so that the foam agent can penetrate deeper into the flammable material and achieve a better quenching effect.
CAFS suppresses fires quickly from an excellent throw distance with less damage to the area. Compressed Air Foam Systems is ideal to a much smaller area than alternative solutions, greatly decreasing your infrastructure requirements
