Product Description

Reaches to clinical standard
Superior electrical performance and distinctive ECG presentations.

High adhesion
It increases in the first few hours after application, helping the electrode to stay in place for long term monitoring. Hypoallergenic adhesive and solid gel on the electrodes ensure minimal skin irritation.

Non-woven PVC foam
High permeability backing materials allow the skin to breathe and function normally. Non-irritating, non-sensitizing,
non-cytotoxic to the skin.

A proven breathable backing
Suitable for patients with a history of skin sensitivities.

Metal snap
Stainless steel stud with thick is 0.6 mm.

FAQ

1. How long are ECG electrodes good for once opened?
30 days

2. Can you reuse ECG electrodes?
All electrodes are disposable and should be discarded if compromised, and a fresh set used.

3. How should ECG electrodes be stored?
Recommended temperature 10°C to 32°C (50° to 90°F). Electrodes should be stored in the original pouch. Varies between 18 to 24 months from the manufacturing date.

4. How should ECG electrodes be stored once opened?
To store electrodes, reseal the electrode package by folding over the open end and placing the package in an airtight container or resealable bag to ensure the remaining electrodes will not dry out. Electrodes will dry out quickly if left open and exposed to the elements.

5. How often should you change ECG electrodes?
Electrodes should be changed daily. Electrode placement is integral for accurate results. When an electrode is misplaced by as little as one intercostal space, QRS morphology may change and contribute to misdiagnosis.

6. What are ECG electrodes made of?
These electrodes, which are cheap and easily available on the market, are composed of an Ag/AgCl electrode surrounded by a conductive gel, whose resistivity is about 100 Ω·m. The gel is surrounded by an adhesive material, which is used to fix the electrodes.

7. How do ECG electrodes work?
During an ECG, up to 12 sensors (electrodes) are attached to the chest and limbs. The electrodes are sticky patches with wires that connect to a monitor. They record the electrical signals that make the heartbeat. A computer records the information and displays it as waves on a monitor or on paper.

8. Why do we use electrode gel?
A device that uses a gel to carry an electric current from the skin to a measuring instrument. A sticky patch may hold the gel electrode on the skin so that the electrical activity of the heart or brain can be measured.
