The ultrasonic welding machine converts the 50/60HZ current into high-frequency alternating current through the ultrasonic generator, and inputs the electric energy into the ultrasonic transducer to generate mechanical motion of the same frequency. The mechanical motion is transmitted to the ultrasonic welding head through the amplitude modulator device, and the welding head transmits the received vibration energy to the joint of the workpiece to be welded. In this area, the energy is frictionally converted into heat, which melts the plastic. The short-term pressure maintained on the workpiece after the vibration stops makes the two weldments solidify as a whole in a molecular link. Generally, the welding time is less than 1 second, and the obtained welding strength is comparable to that of the plastic itself.
