Due to its advantages of high strength, high hardness, high elastic modulus, high wear resistance and low thermal expansion coefficient, cemented carbide has been widely used in machinery manufacturing, metal processing, oil drilling, mining and other industrial fields. Existing cemented carbide materials are mainly composed of matrix WC and binder Co metal. Co element is used as the key binder of cemented carbides because of its excellent comprehensive properties and good wettability with cemented carbides. However, CO is prone to softening, oxidation and high temperature corrosion at high temperature, which makes ordinary cemented carbides vulnerable to wear and lead to failure at high temperature. Therefore, the application of cemented carbides with CO as binder is limited to a certain extent. Therefore, an improved method is urgently needed to prepare cobalt powder suitable for high temperature resistant cemented carbides.
The high temperature metal elements such as rhenium and ruthenium are generally considered to be the best solution to solve the problem of high temperature resistance of cemented carbides because of their good solid solution strengthening with cobalt. UMM adopt unique doped by wet process, rhenium, ruthenium mixed into high temperature special carbide cobalt powder, the formation of coated with special rhenium doped cobalt, ruthenium powder, its characteristic is that rare element rhenium, ruthenium in cemented carbide distribution more uniform homogeneous, under the condition of same add ratio, the effect of adding in ascension carbide technical performance indicators, More than 10% more than normal physics addition.
