Part: Ripe seeds of Cassia obtusifolia L. or Cassia tora L.
Main ingredients: containing cassiaside, chrysophanol, emodin, anthraquinone, etc.
Source of raw materials: Cassia is mainly produced in Jiangsu, Anhui, Sichuan and other places, and Xiaocassia is mainly produced in Guangxi, Yunnan and other places. It is one of the first batch of Chinese medicinal materials with the same origin of medicine and food in my country.
Chemical composition: containing chrysophanol (chrysophanol), emodin (emodin), aloe-emodin (aloe-emodin), rhein (rhein), emodin glucoside, emodin anthrone, emodin methyl ether (physcin), Obtusin (1,6,7-trimethyl-2,8-dihydroxy-3-methylanthraquinone), aurantio-obtusin (1,7-dimethyl-2 , 6,8-trihydroxy-3-methylanthraquinone), and rubrofusarin, torachryson, toralactone. Also contains obtusifolin, methyl chryso-obtusin, nor-rubrofusarin and rubrofusarin-6-β-gentiobioside (rubrofusarin- 6-β-gentiobioside). It is also reported that it contains cassiaside A and B.
