The Backflushing Filter is a precision equipment, which can remove the suspended solids/particles in the water, reduce the turbidity, reduce the system fouling, bacteria , algae and rust to purify the water quality and assure the normal operation of the system and other equipment. It can realize the automatic filtration/cleaning/slag discharging and no interruption during the backblushing.

Working Principle
How the backflush filter works?
1. After the liquid has been fed into the automatic backflushing filter from the inlet (3), 50% unfiltered liquid will flow up to the top of the filter (4) from the middle first, then it will flow into the cartridge (5) from the top. The other 50% liquid flows into the cartridge (6) from the bottom directly.
2. After the liquid flows into the cartridge from the top and from the bottom at the same time and has been filtered, the clean filtered liquid will flow out from the outlet (7).
3. When it reaches to the set pressure difference or the time (9), the filter will start the backflushing automatically. The gear motor will drive the cleaning arm (1) to clean the cartridges one by one, at the same time the filtration will go on continuously.
4. When backflushed, the top of the cartridge will be blocked by the slider (2). The valve of the backflushing will be opened. Because of the pressure difference between the outside of the cartridge and the outlet of the backwash, the filtered clean liquid will rush to the internal surface (8) quickly. The impurities washed down will be discharged from the drain pipe.
