Product Information
Sodium citrate plays an anticoagulant effect mainly by chelating with calcium ions in blood samples. The anticoagulant concentration recommended by the National Clinical Laboratory Standardization Committee is 3.2% or 3.8% (equivalent to 0.109mol/L or 0.129mol/L), and the ratio of anticoagulant to blood is 1:9. The vacuum blood collection tube contains about 0.2mL of 3.2% sodium citrate anticoagulant, and the blood is collected to 2.0ml. The type of specimen preparation is whole blood or plasma. Immediately after collection, invert and mix for 5-8 times. After centrifugation, take the upper plasma for use.

Usage
How to use the vacuum blood collection tube:
Step 1: Placed patient's arm in a downward position and clean venipuncture site with alcohol;Step 2: Apply tourniquet;
Step 3: Remove the upper cover the needle and assemble the needle in holder when first tube has downward and tube filled stopper upper most.
Step 4: Push tube onto needle, puncturing stopper diaphragm.
Step 5: Release tourniquet as soon as blood appears in tube and remove tube from holder when first tube has filled to its stated volume and blood flow ceases;
Step 6: Turn the filled tube upside-down and return it to upright positions and repeat this inversion according to different
additive performance;
Step 7: Place succeeding tubes in holder, puncturing diaphragm to begin follow, see recommended order of draw;
Step 8: As soon as blood stops flowing in the last tube, remove tube from holder and remove needle from Vein, applying pressure to puncture site with dry sterile swab until bleeding stops;
Step 9: Dispose the needles into sharps disposal containers according to related policies and guidelines.
