Tungsten (W) is one of the so-called transition metals with the atomic number 74,it's shiny gray metal in a solid state at room temperature.Tungsten has many outstanding characteristics,it has the highest melting point of all metal elements of 3422°C,and boiling point around 5,700°C closing to the surface temperature of Sun,thus it can withstand a very high temperature.With a high density of 19.3 g/cm³, closely to gold density,tungsten is widely used as balance weights for aircraft and helicopter.Tungsten is also resisted to various acid in room temperature,ever for hydrofluoric acid and aqua regia.

Application
The flux used for high frequency combustion in high frequency infrared carbon and sulfur analyzer has good melting effect and the analysis result is very stable.
