Contactors selection steps
1. Understand the power formula
Actual power = main circuit voltage x contactor current
2. Determine the contactor current
Take the actual power of 10KW as an example,
Two-phase current =10KW÷220V=45A
Three-phase current =10KW÷380V÷1.732÷ power factor ≈20A
3. Determine the coil voltage
Ac voltage: AC220V, AC110V, AC380V, AC24V, AC36V, AC48V
Dc voltage: DC24V, DC110V, DC220V, DC48V
4. Pay special attention in the selection process
l=25A, is the rated current, that is, the allowable current when the equipment works continuously for a long time;
lth=40A, is the agreed heating current, that is, the maximum current bearing limit energy;
Please choose according to the rated current. Working under the specified heating current for a long time may cause damage to the equipment or reduce the service life of the contactor.
The coil voltage, that is, the voltage to A1 and A2 to control the load machine, is not the voltage to the main contact circuit.
The main contact of LC1D series is 3 normally open, and the auxiliary contact is 1 open and 1 closed. You can purchase separate auxiliary contacts.
