Q1: What is Surge Protector?
A1: Surge protector is an electronic device that provides lightning protection. Surge protector is also called Surge Protection Device, Surge Protective Device, Surge Arrester, Lightning Arrester, Lightning Protector, SPD, DPS, etc.
Q2: Which TYPE (CLASS) of surge protector can you offer?
A2: We can offer T1, T1+T2, T2 type AC SPD in single-phase or three-phase voltage. For DC SPD, we can provide T1, T1+T2, T2 type from 500VDC to 1500VDC.
Q3: How can I select the SPD to protect the system?
A3: In the main distribution box of the facility, we usually will use T1 and T1+T2 type SPD. In the secondary distribution box, we usually will use T1+T2 or T2 type. In the terminal of distribution box like residence, we usually will choose T2 SPD. Please contact us if you do not know which specification to choose from.
Q4: Can I know more about the DC surge protector?
A4: There are T1+T2, T1 and T2 DC SPD. T1+T2 type will be used in main distribution box for PV system. T2 DC SPD will be used in distribution box for personal solar system.
