1.What are the limitations of this product?
This reagent is a qualitative screening reagent, which can detect canine parvovirus / canine coronavirus antigen very accurately,but if the sample is insufficient or the antigen concentration is lower than the sensitivity of reagent detection, the doctorshould make the diagnosis after taking into account all the clinical symptoms. An accurate clinical diagnosis should not be based on a single test result.
2.What is the sensitivity and specificity of this product?
Compared with other similar rapid detection cards, the sensitivity of this card was more than 99%, and there was no cross reaction with canine distemper virus, adenovirus and parainfluenza virus with similar symptoms.
3.Are there positive reactions when tested after vaccination?
Because canine parvovirus and canine coronavirus vaccines may be attenuated vaccines, the virus may increase in the body during immunization and may show positive reactions. However, this phenomenon automatically disappeared after 3-10 days of vaccination.However, animals treated with monoclonal antibodies may be false positive for a long time because they produce secondary antibodies against monoclonal antibodies in vivo.
