Cityclock
The ECAT analog clock for outdoor use is an elegant solution for signalling time in the city and as an element of street decoration, advertising panel in highways, railway stations, airports etc. Available in modern or antique style, single or double clock face, Cityclock can be purchased and decorated with a cast iron column. Different models are available to blend in with any type of architecture.
The GPS antenna guarantees absolute precision and the self-correcting hands reduce clock maintenance to almost zero, for timeless reliability. Cityclock is the perfect answer to city timekeeping and street furnishing – for vast airport spaces, station platforms or social rendezvous such as squares, parks and golf clubs. A modern-day totem that signals the passing of time. Long-life lithium batteries (the clock is also available with DCF77 synchronisation).

1. Who Are We?
We are based in Cuneo, Italy.
Ecat was founded in 1971 as a business venture by brothers Amilcare and Sergio Gallo to manufacture monumental clocks for churches and town halls. The key to their success lay in offering an innovative product - no longer custom-made products but ones manufactured on a large scale for distribution across the largest possible area via an efficient sales network. Pursuing this aim, Ecat started out with electromechanical clocks before soon afterwards introducing electronic ones. Thanks to their quality and easy installation and transportation, Ecat expanded its market, initially nationwide and then across Europe. In the 1990s, the company flanked its monumental clock production with that of industrial clocks and began supplying public and private firms.
Ecat invest in R&D, manufacturing products that incorporate innovative technology such as the Cityclock street clock with a self-correcting time and GPS sensor. There are also partnerships with Italian companies of excellence such as the renowned automobile firm Pagani, for which Ecat created a large outdoor clock for the new Modena factory in 2016.
