Ceramic glass is a powerful formula! It is a combination of tempered glass (which is
already 7 times stronger than regular glass) and ceramic. This material is also called Pyroceram. It makes for a shatter resistant
product that can withstand a thermal shock rating of 1380°F and intense heat up to 1400°F! This heat tolerance makes it ideal for
any application where high temperatures are prevelant. High temperature ceramic glass is suitable for use in gas, oil, wood, pellet, coal burning, and bio-stoves. We use only genuine Pyroceram ceramic glass available in 3/16" thickness only. Pyroceram is a special formula that combines ceramic and tempered glass. The result is an extremely resilient pane of glass that features a subtle amber tint.
