Low-temperature thermoplastic can be heated to 65°C to activate their mouldable qualities. Maidfirm low-temperature thermoplastsic sheets features allow for reheating, reshaping and remoulding. Due to its rigidity, there's no need for additional reinforcement, Low temperature Thermoplastic sheets can be used to mould dynamic or static hand and wrist splints, cervical collar neck splints, body jacket and back support inserts, and various other custom-made splints.
Lightweight, good plasticity, x-ray translucent, latex-free, non-toxic, non-irritating to skin, antimicrobial and environment friendly with self-degradation.

Operation:
Heat it in hot water at temperature 65℃-70 ℃ about 2 minutes ( different thickness in different heating time), when it softens, take it out from the water and use a clean cloth to dry it. Meanwhile, the material temperature drops and feels it not too hot, they can directly mold on the patient. After mold well and hold it in the same position until material getting cool and rigidity, take out the molded material to cut well by scissors and smooth the edge to avoid hurt patients. Or using a padding strip to wrap the edge. After that, put it back to the patient and immobilize it by hook and loop. In case you need to adjust,
it can be partially adjusted by heat gun.

A. We have 2 general types of thermoplastic material for your choice. Maidfirm M and Maidfirm E.
3. How can I get a suitable material?
A. We would like to send you a small size of samples to you for testing, you just handle well freight cost that is fine. We accept prepay freight cost and freight collect. We will advise you.
4. How to heat material?
A.: Heating method- water heat or dry heat. Same as other famous brands of thermoplastic like Orfit, Aquaplast and Klarity, same heating method. Normally we use water bath to heat thermoplastic at most.
5. Do you have video to teach us how to fabricate with your thermoplastic splinting material?
A: Sure, we would like to do it.
6. What thickness you can offer?
